Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. She was best known as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre studies she pursued took place at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago performing in stage parts for a number of years. Then she moved to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in films and TV shows. Anna was the first to get a major role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. Anna continued appearing in films as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons in Deadwood's second season. Skyler was the character she played on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts called Numbered Days, which was released in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final seasons that were the life of Walter White.
